Something in the Water Soothes My Soul. I am drawn to water. I grew up near Lake Michigan in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago.  I would spend a lot of time at the beach with my friends. To this day, when I'm stressed out, I'll go sit by the water. It brings me peace and clarity. I hope this painting does the same for the viewer.
